1. Without prejudice to the provisions of article 16 of this Code, drivers are allowed to pass on the left or right side of any structure, island, post, stake, monument, project or device located on the roadway and which constitute an obstacle to the direct movement of boats, unless the side on which they are obliged to move is defined by signs.

2. If an obstacle from the above is located on the axis of the two-way roadway, drivers are required to pass on the right side of it.

3. Whoever violates the provisions of this article is punished with an administrative fine of eighty (80.00) euros.
